What Is an HDMI Extender?
A standard HDMI cable has a limited range — typically about 50 feet (about 15 meters) for HD video, and only 25 feet (about 7.5 meters) for 4K video. Beyond these distances, signal quality can degrade, resulting in loss of picture or audio.
