The Z-Band Z-Light optical video distribution system is an end-to-end fiber optical video distribution system.
The three components of the system are optical transmitters, couplers, and receivers. The Z-Light system can serve as the backbone for a traditional coax distribution system, a fiber-to-the-edge system, or a Z-Band CATV Distribution system.
The Z-Light transmitter features automatic load balancing and a flat signal output that makes it easy to install and maintain. Utilizing an optical backbone eliminates the need for coax on the riser in any television distribution system, and integrates seamlessly into the Z-Distribution ZHC system.
Optical transmitters have less loss over distance than a coax system, making them an ideal solution for your CATV distribution backbone across a campus, high rise, or even an RV Park!
