Z-Band uses fiber optic technology and products to transmit/receive the 7 “T-Channels” and 134 broadcast channels of video over single-mode fiber when distances exceed 600′ on RG-11 coax. A pair of fiberunits when connected together provide a bi-directional RF optical signal up to 25 Km (~15Miles).
The Fiber Optic Link features 2 “F-Connectors” (input and output) and 2 fiber optic ports for connection to the paired unit. It also has indicator lights to indicate the video input level.
Note: The unit must use a SC/APC
connector system to assure proper operation.
