About Z-Band, Inc.

Z-Band, a "veteran-owned small business," manufactures and sells an  active RF HD Video Distribution System.  The system broadcasts up to 134 analog or hundreds of digital RF video channels, including High Definition 1080i/p, over CAT 5, and or CAT 6 (UTP) per TIA/EIA "568" wiring infrastructure.  The RF video distribution system distributes multimedia video from sources such as Cable TV, DSS, and modulated baseband outputs from cameras, VCR's, DVDs and computers to as many as 14,000 RJ-45 outlets.  The system provides a RF video distribution platform for television, signage,  electronic bulletin boards, video conferencing, distance learning, and emergency alert broadcasts, most of which can be run on existing CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable.

Z-Band's video distribution system is a simple, self-adjusting hardware solution that provides a versatile means of distributing RF broadband video signals throughout a building or campus.  Traditional coax video distribution systems are generally more expensive to design, install, and maintain.  In contrast, Z-Band's system can utilize regular LAN/telecommunications Category wiring.  This is generally already installed in a large majority of offices, hotel, hospital, multi-tenant facilities, classrooms and dormitories.
